On February 22, 2019, President Worton, Vice President Trivett and Recording Secretary Pabst visited the Burn Center at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. They were able to tour the burn unit and the adjoining research center where they saw first hand the positive impact that work done here has on burn patients. Besides the obvious impact made by doctors, nurses and medical staff, the research done here has far reaching impacts for burn patients everywhere.
The 1234 annual Bobby Jones Memorial Golf Tournament benefits the Burn Center. We were able to donate $17,500 from the 2018 tournament. We hope to increase that donation this year. The golf tournament is June 3, 2019 at Blue Mash. More information and registration will be available in the near future.
